PlanAdapt Enters into Internship Collaboration with King’s College London
The Department of Geography at King's College London runs five masters programmes (e.g. MSc Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy; MSc Risk Analysis, Disasters and Resilience or MSc Sustainable Cities). Several of which are strongly aligned with PlanAdapt’s remit.
In addition to coursework, the Department offers the Environmental Internship module. It is a practical placement module that has been running successfully in the Department for over 10 years. The module is accredited and counts towards the student’s Degree. At the beginning of 2021, PlanAdapt’s Coordination Hub will start hosting a King’s College student to provide an opportunity to test, validate and question theories and assumptions while experiencing the realities and challenges of our everyday’s work at PlanAdapt.
PlanAdapt is proud to collaborate with the King’s College as have many reputable organisations in the past, such as the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), Rainforest Foundation UK or Royal Geographical Society with IBG.
