Dr. Kei Namba
Kei is a PlanAdapt Fellow, based in Berlin, Germany.
She works on water governance and integrity issues especially in Asia and Pacific. She has 10 years’ experience in the field of water, energy and climate in academic research, private business and consultancies for non-profit and environmental agencies. Her interests include governance process and mechanism in water utilities (both instrumentative and normative), international cooperation, and informing policy in water and climate. She has supported the publication of Water Integrity Global Outlook (WIGO)2021: Urban Water and Sanitation, the content development of capacity development course on water integrity, advocacy on climate finance and integrity.
Kei has also engaged with research and policy analysis on topics related to water, climate and energy. Prior to her PhD studies in Political Science, she has engaged with large-scale infrastructure development projects for power generation in developing Asia.
Kei holds a PhD degree in International Development Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies from Free University Berlin, Germany.
