Clara Malcolm
Clara is a PlanAdapt Fellow, based in Berlin, Germany.
She has worked for more than 10 years in the field of rural development projects financed by international organisations, such as IFAD, World Bank, Adaptation Fund, Green Climate Fund and more, with a specific focus on Latin America. During this time she has developed significant experience in gender mainstreaming and social inclusion, within the framework of international agreements of human rights and policies & safeguards of international agencies (ESMF/ESF, Indigenous Peoples Planning Frameworks, Gender Policies & Gender Action Plans). In addition, Clara has also relevant experience working with local governments and civil society organisations, and in education and training projects.
She holds a Master degree in Administration and Public Policies. Her thesis focused on the analysis of the local implementation of public policies with a gender perspective and the role played by international funding agencies.
