Reaj Morshed
Reaj is a founding network member and an associate with PlanAdapt, based in Vancouver, Canada, and temporarily in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He has over 8 years of experience in policy analysis and research, especially in the field of environment, climate change and biodiversity. He has substantial expertise on governance issues around climate change policy and climate finance in developing countries, and experience in providing strategic advice to government, non-government and research agencies. He managed and led numerous projects in the implementation and research sphere in Bangladesh. Policy level advocacy, developing relationship with stakeholders, project development and supporting strategic planning has been the key traits of his work. He has worked with local non-profits like WildTeam as Assistant Programme Coordinator, research agencies like IIED, ICCCAD and BCAS as a Researcher and Research Coordinator and with international development agencies like GIZ as an Advisor for Climate Change Finance and Policy.
Reaj holds a Masters of Engineering in Public Policy from McMaster University in Canada, and a BSc in Civil Engineering (Transportation and Environmental Engineering major) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Bangladesh.
